Hi. Welcome to Coastal Whisper Boudoir!
I'm Julie Martin! I've been a professional wedding and family photographer for 15 years in the Hampton Roads, VA area. I have two adorable kiddos and married to the most amazing supportive husband a girl could ask for. I've always wanted to own and operate a boudoir studio and NOW is the perfect time in my life to do so.
Coastal Whisper Boudoir is a boudoir photography studio that specializes in capturing sexy and beautiful photographs. I'm all about empowering women through radiant, confidence-boosting images. I believe every woman deserves to feel sexy, strong, and unapologetically herself. No matter your body size, skin color, or whatever blemish you may have — every part of you is worthy of being seen, celebrated, and captured beautifully. My goal is to create a fun, relaxed experience that leaves you feeling confident and radiant in your own skin.

WHY BOUDOIR PHOTOS?
Why not? Maybe this is a gift for that special someone? Sure. ok. But in my opinion EVERY woman should do boudoir photos for themselves! It's empowering! It's hot! It's sexy! It makes you see how beautiful you really are!
WHY COASTAL WHISPER BOUDOIR?
Have you met me? LOL. I am the most laid back person you'll ever meet. And a lot of fun! This experience can be, yes, intimidating getting undressed in front of a stranger. But let me tell you....there is ZERO judgement here. I will guide you through the whole process! Tell you exactly where to put your hands, how to pose, and even make you laugh til your face hurts....but not too much because we still need a serious pic or two.
DO I BRING MY OWN OUTFITS?
I have found over the years, YOU know what you like and what is most flattering on you. I do have a small collection of pieces you are welcome to use. I tell clients, just bring it all and we will see what works best in the space
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Absolutely! You should be 100% comfortable. NEVER do a shoot for a photographer that won't let you bring a friend/sister/family, whatever. :D
DO YOU EDIT SKIN ?
EVERYONE has wrinkles, blemishes, blotchy skin or even a tattoo they're not proud of. hahah And don't even get me started on cellulite! All of this gets smoothed out leaving you having silky smooth skin in the final pictures.
